The Welding LaserCell is a Class 1 robotic system that can be configured with a broad range of welding capabilities and part handling options.

Featuring a single or dual 6-axis robot, the system can bring a laser processing head to a part or move the part beneath a static laser processing head.

The Welding LaserCell enables a wide variety of applications to take advantage of the speed and quality of laser welding. Single or dual 6-axis robot configurations offer the flexibility to optimize cycle times for different part geometries while a selection of part loading and handling configurations ensures easy integration into the factory floor.

With laser process development, part path programming, and tooling design services from IPG, your LaserCell system can be personalized to offer the best possible performance.

Fully Integrated Beam Delivery

IPG offers a selection of welding process heads and scanners to optimize any application, whether it requires many small welds or larger, longer weld seams.

In dual robot configurations, a single laser source can supply two separate beam delivery heads simultaneously. Alternatively, two laser sources can support parallel welding of parts.

Optional real-time weld measurement directly measures every weld as it is made to enable 100% weld quality assurance.
