Powered by the industry's most reliable fiber lasers, the Glovebox Laser Welding System take advantage of IPG laser welding technology to create repeatable, high-quality welds. A fully integrated control system coordinates welding and environmental controls while automated precision motion ensures high part yields.
A variety of system options enable system configuration optimized for your specific welding application. Customize glove quantity, antechamber part transfer, and bakeout ovens to best suit your part and process. Optional wobble welding heads help overcome common welding problems related to gaps between workpieces and eliminate weld defects like cracking and porosity. The integrated IPG fiber laser is optimized for the application and includes exclusive Quasi-CW fiber laser options for minimal heat-affected zone and maximized weld quality in titanium and other materials.

Glovebox laser welding workstations feature full coordination of all motion axes along with integration with vision systems for precise process alignment. Laser parameter changes can be linked to the motion system with real-time adjustment of laser output settings.
The systems also feature process head programming and automatic system responses to process variations.

Utilizing a flexible system design, Glovebox workstations can be configured for a variety of part and application requirements.
- One or more vacuum bakeout ovens with stored programs and 1-3 shelves
- Flexible antechamber configurations for easy part transfer with automatic cycling and door locking mechanism
- Dual column gas recirculators for removing oxygen and moisture down to 1 PPM and 24/7 operation
- Automatic double-valve soot removal system for safely collecting reactive materials like Titanium with easily removable collection vessel
- Advanced gas control and analysis for gases including He, H2O, and O2 with programmable alarms
- Up to 4 gloves for flexible part manipulation

Wobble welding heads are the ultimate tool to weld a multitude of different material types and thicknesses. The wobbling technique helps users overcome common welding problems related to gaps between workpieces, as well as materials prone to cracking and porosity.
In Glovebox workstations wobble welding increases quality in difficult to weld materials, accomodates parts with wider tolerances, increases tool flexibility, and increases part yield.
