Our high-power fiber lasers utilize a modular design which combines the output of multiple fiber laser modules into a single delivery fiber, allowing continuous operation even in the event of a single module failure.

Our high-power fiber lasers are powered by the world's most efficient and long lasting single-emitter diodes.

We design our lasers with an optimal quantity of these diodes, to ensure laser operation at an ideal current, extending the lifetime of the laser, maximizing electrical efficiency, and increasing return on investment.

IPG fiber lasers are super compact and lightweight, saving valuable floor space and simplifying integration into production systems.

Since their introduction to the market in early 2000s, the power to volume ratio of kilowatt-class lasers has improved more than 10x. 

IPG continues to lead the market in compactness and weight reduction of high power industrial fiber lasers.

RELIABLE

Fiber lasers have a monolithic, entirely solid state, fiber-to-fiber design without free-space mirrors or optics, enabling laser operation in the harshest working environments. 

Fiber lasers can be lifted by cranes and moved around on wheels. They do not require vibrationally isolated floors or expansive thermally stabilized rooms and enclosures.

IPG fiber lasers have the longest pump diode lifetimes, require minimal maintenance and have the lowest down time. Our high power laser warranty is the best on the market.
